Ranger 3 Deeps - Delivery Support

Energy Resources of Australia (ERA), majority owned by Rio Tinto, is constructing the $120 million Ranger 3 Deeps exploration decline to conduct close spaced underground exploration drilling and explore areas adjacent to the Ranger 3 Deeps resource. The Ranger 3 Deeps mineralised zone contains an estimated 34,000 tonnes of uranium oxide, and represents one of the most significant recent uranium discoveries world-wide.

The project involves the construction of a boxcut and 2,200 metres of decline and lateral development to a depth of approximately 370 metres in an extremely remote and sensitive environment.

Enabling works commenced on the project in early 2012.
