• 17 stations between St James & Rouse Hill
• approximately 130 cross passages at 240m maximum centres
• associated maintenance, M&E and operations infrastructure

Bamser Involvement In The Project

During the product definition phase of the Project Bamser were engaged to provide technical advice covering:
• The likely build specification for the TBMs suitable for the Project.
• The TBM manufacturers capable of supplying the machines suited to the Project, including assessment of capability.
• Programming for TBM launch, reception and refurbishment. Identification of the key risks associated with TBM refurbishment and re-use within the project.
• TBM procurement options, identification of key risks with respect to the commercial and program elements.
• Procurement options in relation to the design, manufacture supply of the precast concrete segmental lining. Identification of key risks associated with each option including commercial and program risks.
